Recent discussion amongst the OT moderators that surely has nothing at all to do with the latest ****fest between BK and Asher has brought me to the conclusion that the OT's tone has become much too spiteful and mean-spirited of late.
In the manner of a debate moderator, I've decided to take it upon myself to curb the hurtful and personal posts that run rampant in particular threads. Further, I want to see a rise in the number of creative, interesting, and educational threads that the nostalgic amongst us imagine Apolyton once had.
To that end, I am establishing this thread as the repository of all hurtful, hateful, and distasteful messages in the Apolyton OT. If ever you feel a desire to attack, slander, insult, or harass a poster in any but the most amicable of ways, stop, come to this thread, and insult me instead. Let me be your punching bag, your stress ball, your red-headed stepchild.
Do not take your anger out on your fellow posters, because to do so will invoke my unquenched aggression. As a meek, nerdy teenager in school picked on by one too many big, bad bullies, I was forced to stifle my rage far too often. Now as an adult with access to illusory power on the internet, I am choosing to unleash all of that pent up aggression on Poly posters that pick on others.
So I say to you now, citizens of the Off Topic community, be kind to your fellow posters, steer your attacks to this thread, and beware my pimply wrath.
