Rah, clearly didn't understand the situation and made some foolish remarks regardless. In the end, I'm not in charge of this project. When it's done, I go back to school, fill out the report, tell them what I learned and move on. If the project fails, I'll just have to write my thesis on something else. Meanwhile, their school will never get a student from mine again. Despite all that, I am doing everything that is possible to prevent this project from failing, even if it means that I have to do everything myself. The problem is getting approval from the PhD, who is in charge of it.

Here are the ****ing responsibilities of the PhD in my study:

Preceptors are expected to provide the student with regular feedback and supervision in order for the student to gain experience and training to accomplish agreed upon outcomes.
The Preceptor is expected to address questions or concerns on the part of the student and to facilitate networking with other public health professionals.
The Preceptor will provide consistent contact with the student and clearly outline the expected outcomes of their involvement.
The Preceptor will utilize the student’s strengths and resources to allow them to perform work meaningful to both the agency and the intern.
Preceptors will be requested to complete an Evaluation form at the end of the Internship period, giving feedback on the performance of the student.
