    I am ashamed.
Don't be, Samual Adams is good beer. Better than any Canadian shiit. It's not as good as perhaps a European import. But probably the best north american beer (that I've heard of, i.e. that you can find in the U.S.)

Oh, and the obvious solution is not to drink. Barring that, I'd see a doctor if you really want to drink. I've never felt sore after drinking alcohol. I might feel tired, but not sore.

Berzerk, there may be some reasons for that. I mean, its cool if you like it. I understand frat partys can get rough and, weird. Personally I wouldn't know, but all that oil-wrestling with the guys may hurt ya.

I hurt if I down hard liquors; tequila, Johnny black label.

It's one of the better American beers I've ever tasted, but certainly not better than the good Canadian ones (obviously not Molson, Labatt, etc which I'm sure you're referring to).

Wouldn't say its the best North American beer. Sam Adams' is great, no doubt. However, Dogfish Head (from Delaware), Rogue (from Oregon), and Stone (from California) are all awesome beer makers. Dogfish Head in particular is very adventurous.

Prima pils from Victory Brewing Company is by far my favorite beer right now.

Mighty Arrow pale ale by...um...the same company that brews Fat Tire (overrated) is pretty darn good too.

                Sam Adams is OK.

I actually like 1554 from New Belgium (the company that brews Fat Tire... and yes it is overrated, it's a good regional brew that gets all sorts of excitment when it reaches a new market, like Yuengling from Philly or Sweetwater from Atlanta).

                  Victory is good too

Anyway, to avoid medical costs. Take a doctor out for a drink.

What kind of brew is 1554? Not sure I've seen that around. I'm a bit of a hophead so I tend to like pale ales and IPAs. The Prima Pils is quite hoppy for a pilsner.

1554 is a dark ale, with some chocolate malts:

I like hoppy beer too, but it is worth it to streach you palate . I enjoy quite a bit of dark ales, stouts, and porters.

I went to The Beer Bistro in Toronto a few weeks ago with the brother and sampled a lot of obscure Euro beers that were quite awesome.

                          Favourite was the Scotch Beers.

I'll give it a try -- I like Anchor Porter and who doesn't like Guiness.

Samuel Adams is **** compared to what some microbreweries produce. When I talk about American beer I am talking about the major piss producers, coors, miller, budweiser, etc. Though to be fair that's a bit akin to saying American fine dining consists of McDonalds.

Right now my favorite beer is Monks' Ale, it is brewed here in New Mexico.

                              1554 is also good.

I very much doubt it, unless you have some article to link to describing what I've described in the first post that also attributes it to a crying liver.

I meant as a mass produced beer. That's why I included what you can find. Most microbrews are very hard to find. And you can only find them where they are brewed at. For a mass produced beer Sam Adams is good.
