If Sarkozzy actively smiled at this and the photgrapher had the time to take such a telling picture, this was a blatent stare over the span of possible 10-30 seconds. A regular glance and stare only takes a moment and is hard to capture the eyes of anyone in that situation for moar than a few seconds timeframe.

So the AAHZ-Theory™ is that Obama did this on purpose to further show his "human"
side to the rest of the world, and not make himself to be a Bush-Like robotic figurehead with no soul. It is easier to respect the former, which is Obama's entire strategy from his initial campaign.
