I consider this just a rumor until it gets into the main stream media but there is scuttlebutt that a massive scandal and probably federal charges for embezzlement are coming down the pipe so she's getting out now. Supposedly the scandal centers on her funneling high mark up contracts to friends while mayor and then those "friends" gave her kick backs in the form of free building materials and workers to build her 3,500 sq ft custom house she built while mayor.

The supplier friend, who was a major campaign donor, has supposedly had his company records seized by the Feds so it might just be a matter of time until her kick backs get exposed.

Yet Obama is not benefitting from it. At the end of the day, all of the actions of these contenders and pretender pale in comparison to whether Obama is doing a good job or not. If Obama is doing a good job, these folks will continue to recede into the background. If Obama is doing a poor job, many of these folks will be made giants.
