  • Cheers! Utah moves into the 20th century

The Las Vegas Review-Journal is Nevada's most trusted source for local news, Las Vegas sports, business news, gaming news, entertainment news and more.

No longer do you need to fill out an application to go to a bar in Utah, they are now open to the general public! To tell you the truth, I've been to Utah many times, and never knew you couldn't go into a bar there. Because most things to do in Utah don't happen indoors. They happen outdoors.

It's a very beautiful state, and I do urge everyone to go there at least once. Wow, I kinda sound like I work for the state's tourism board. . Make sure you come to Las Vegas first, however.

Now tell me the below picture isn't the coolest thing you've ever seen. (assuming the site allows hotlinking )

    edited picture- too big

Not one bar in that beautiful wilderness, I'll bet.

nope, not one very close either. As that state park is a good drive from the nearest town iirc.

And I still think they limit the alcohol content of their beers So no Newcastle for me there.

            3.2 beer, same as Oklahoma.

You can get the regular beer at the State liquor store, as long as you are there by 8pm.

                ACK!

How is this good news? Wouldn't we all be happier if they had just stayed behind in the 19th, far away from us?
