so is it faster or no?

And what about add ons such as no script. I use no script as I was told this would help against keyloggers.

I got fed up with Firefox 3 and switched to Chrome, which has worked flawlessly. Should I switch back?

3.5 won't run for me. Shows up under processes and then does **** all. I reinstalled 3.0.11.

Along with the radio, ads are one of the ways I keep in touch with what is cool and hip. How would I find new tunes without KCRW? How would I know about Slap chop without advertisements. To hell with you, precocious douches of the world.

No worse than it used to be.

Firefox.next (due out early 2010) is focused on interface snappiness, including matching or exceeding Chrome's launch times. In the meantime, just don't close it.

It used to be faster on my system. Now, it takes 10 seconds or so.

That's a ridiculously long time. A cold start is about 2s on all of my laptops/desktops...

Are you judging it based just on the first startup? The first startup converts the SQL schema of the data store to the new one, which takes a bit longer than usual.

If it's taking noticably longer something is messed on your system.

I'm not kidding. If my salary increases 250-300%, that's substantial. If the amount I give to charity (under 10 roubles) increases 250-300%, that's negligible.

Would you want your monitor to be 18 or 2? Would you call it negligible?
I still like Opera better; but now I have 4 damned browsers installed. Opera, Firefox, Chrome and dreaded IE.
