PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. -- Three people, a man, woman and child were found dead in a swimming pool Monday afternoon, according to the Pickens County Sheriff's office.
Assistant Sheriff Tim Morgan said Arnulfo Tomas Francisco, 37, Maria Nichulos Juan, 27, and 8-year-old Eric Sebastian were found in a backyard swimming pool at a home off of Hamburg Road near Easley.
Deputies said Francisco and Juan's 7-year-old son witnessed the drownings.
Francisco's son said Sebastian jumped into the pool and that his father went in to rescue him. The boy said his mother then dove in to try to rescue both Sebastian and Francisco.
Family of the victims told News 4's Mandy Gaither that none of the three could swim.
Morgan said there does not appear to be any foul play.
