While it is terrible that this guy committed a crime like rape (especially several times) the reality is statistically speaking illegal immigrants have a much lower crime rate then the native born population. The reason is they fear being discovered by authorities so they take extra care to avoid anything which would bring their presence to the attention of law enforcement.
