    Sorry. Misread you.

I now agree entirely with your line of enquiry.

qft. I was going to say there isn't much to grope.

Now if we are talking L.A., then we might be talking.

either that, or a vending machine that spits out a robot that likes to be groped.

Now, we know this stereotype isn't true. Just look at the women depicted in the average anime.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

If anime were a realistic depiction, they'd probably be complaining more about the tentacle-rape than the groping.

Actually this exists already. After the groping trend grew into a hype, a number of clever brothel entrepeneurs developed a new concept in which a train/metro carriage is imitated. Men pay good money to go in there and grope (hired) women.
