  • Lithuania bans "advertising" of homosexual, bisexual and poligamic sex through the country.

    77 MPs supported that.
    3 were against
    3 were neutral

The official reason is that it "harms the emotional, intellectual and moral growth of the underage".

It seems 90% of the lithuanian parliament are nutjobs.

        poligamic?

gonna have to look that one up

edit: should have figured it dealt with polygamy. I thought it was when Apolyton members have sex with each other.

After the recent school shooting here some politicians wanted to ban paintball, cuz it's a killer game. Seriously. Lots of people, the media and experts (psychologists etc.) explained that it doesn't turn people into amok-running guys and the idea was withdrawn.

I didn't vote for the party initiating this.

I don't guess they will get their own city now.

The president can veto this. And my fav party walked out of voting. Our parliament has 141 seats.

What's your favourite party? The Action of Poles in Lithuania - the true regional party of the Wilno / Vilnius area?

No, no, it seems this ruling is trying to restrict the Action of Poles, or at least advertising for certain varieties thereof. Speaking of which, what kind of "advertising" are we talking? Do they mean it in the sense of depicting it, ie no Will and Grace? Or were there actual billboards telling the Lithuanian public to "try hip, exciting buttsex today"?
