  • When the Economy Improves...

How much credit will be given to Obama, who really hasn't done anything but pisss a lot of people off? Personally, economic correction is only slightly attribute to government spending, and the spending was something anyone in his position would do. It was something Bush did, so what's to say that the Bush stimulus wasn't enough, it just needed time, and that Obama's TARP was just a big waste of money?

More so, I'm concerned about the credit. I'm sick of the president who is in place getting the credit for something they didn't do or had not hand in. Ala, 911.

Why are you putting TARP on Obama's head, and why are you confusing this with fiscal stimulus?

I agree. I'd rather have a crappy economy than let Obama take credit for a good one.

If you wanted a crappy economy, you should have worked harder to keep the Republicans in power. Most of us don't like crappy economies, that's why we voted them out.

Yes. Absolutely yes. Anything is an improvement over the last 8 years of Republican incompetence.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news pal, but when Bush was in office....he, um, didn't control congress. There was this big group of blue people, oh yea Democrats, that got to say yes and no to stuff. It wasn't anything like how it is now, you know...Obama and his band of majorities. Yea thats right, Bush could have had all kinds of his laws and policies and what not all over turned, but well...dems did nothing.

Thats the great thing about a 3 system government, is that it is never 1 groups fault. Yea Bush was president, but guess what... he isnt a dictator and didn't have supreme control. Dems had alot of power, and they used it all to often interfering with soldier affairs in the war. *as a soldier, you need to be allowed to do your job and not get your hands tied by some liberal 10000 miles away in an office, our rules of engagement changed all the time because of them*

Obama said this, "It is not enough for me to just be president, I have to be an important president." ...take a sec to reflect on that............... oh yea he did say that....that means he already has the ego of Hitler, and is moving up to the level of Zeus. It just isnt enough for him to be the first black president, or to be a young, inexperienced moron to hold the highest US office...he has to be important.

                    Nuff said.

He sure did, so my new tax cut means I get more money now and less to reclaim come spring.

If it is a save all, I should see more monies but thats not really the way it works

I guess what I am saying is he didnt cut anything or did he?

I mean I was getting more money back in spring so basically he is letting me have it now instead of a refund?

Thanks for helping explain that to old Gramps

It's also the problem. No accountability as you can always blame the other guys.
