Something is fishy here...if they knew enough about US bonds to make a convincing forgery, why would they make such errors?

I have suspicion that these Japanese guys may have be dupes in a 'Nigeria-esque' scam...you know, the fictitious minister who needs your help moving huge amounts of money. This may have been their 'pay-off'.

Note: I'm not saying that Kennedy notes exist; simply that 1934 Kennedy notes make more sense than somebody who has only a superficial knowledge of US history would think.
