The parade and other activities are usually north of the downtown area. Best to see what your transportation plans are and select something based on that.

Gay pride in Davenport, Iowa will be especially FESTIVE this year - along with all other Iowa gay pride festivals, as we will be celebrating the legalization of equal marriage rights for gays and lesbians.

What the hell. Having a parade in a corn field? I don't think my town has a gay pride parade. Closest is perhaps the rest area along the interstate after dark.
