  • Battlestar Galatica WTF things

I still don't understand the backstory/some plot elements of this show.

    Questions in order of precedent:
    1. Whats up with the dead starbuck??
    2. The opera house, something to do with angels...whaaa???
    3. Who came first Cylons or Humans?
    4. WTF!!!
    5. Who are the black people on earth at the end?
    6. Did humans make the cylons, or did the the 5 cylons make the cylons???
    7. The robot dudes, they aren't cylons? Who made them?
    8. The invisible cylon woman/invisible guias baltar, are they god or something?

    1. Whats up with the dead starbuck??

She was an agent of God and was resurrected to complete her mission.

    2. The opera house, something to do with angels...whaaa???

It was a brief vision of the future to aid certain parties.

    3. Who came first Cylons or Humans?

Neither. The 13th tribe of Kobol was a race of Cylons. The other 12 were humans.

    4. WTF!!!

    Yes.

    5. Who are the black people on earth at the end?

Humans that either happened to have evolved on that planet or were placed there by some other agent.

    6. Did humans make the cylons, or did the the 5 cylons make the cylons???

Humans made the toaster Cylons, but then then the 5 Cylons gave the toaster Cylons new technology, including the other 7 models.

    7. The robot dudes, they aren't cylons? Who made them?

What? Those are the Cylons made by humans.

    8. The invisible cylon woman/invisible guias baltar, are they god or something?

    Angels of god.

Actually it seemed those original Cylons were created by the humans on Kobol.

I think it would have been better without all the fantasy stuff.

Roslin? Though I can't be sure about that...

10.) Is there anyone who was not completely let down by the last season?

I was not completely let down. I was satisfied in the end, but certainly not as much as I wanted to be. About as much as I expected to be, though.

It would have been better if Guias Baltar really was insane and destroyed the ship or something.

I'd say seasons 1,2, and most of 3 was some of the best sci-fi television ever made. Season 4 had many excellent episodes as well,(the mutiny episodes for instance), but the ending was so disappointing it ruins the whole thing.

BG is based on Morman mythology? It wouldn't surprise me.
