You're right in that absolute 100 percent party loyalty is not the sole determining factor of one's political leaning.

But if you had shown that you voted consistently Republican without ever voting Democrat, and claiming you were "left of center" I would be laughing at you right now.

I don't vote consistently for either party. The last Presidential election was the first time I cast a vote for a major party candidate and that was only because it was so obvious who was offering more of the past 8 years. Too bad we got him...

As much as I hate to admit it, Drake speaks the truth. Not that we didn't expect some reversals from the dem administration, but this is ridiculous.

There was a meeting set up by the admin to talk to some leftist civil rights groups about the latest 180s by Obama, and apparently he didn't like what they told him. I guess he got a little snippy about not being 100% accepted by the left.

Or course the REALLY hilarious thing about all this is that what's left of the GOP is still calling him a fascist socialist terrorist-appeaser. Which means I guess Bush was those things too.

Real leaders may actually lead somewhere. There are way too many special interests out there on both sides that stand to lose something. Nobody is willing to sacrifice anything. Then again I guess it has always been that way.
