If I put on my tinfoli hat for a moment, the whole theory of economic warfare on such a massive scale is interesting.
I've gotten the impression (right or worng) that the US is actually hurting the least (the possible exception is China). The fact that China seems to be hurting less would indicate that such a idea is silly. But on the other hand perhaps the US was conting on the Chinese regime not being able to survive low growth.
In relative terms is the US the winner of this crisis? And if so is it possible that the millions of Americans enduring hardship now are just collateral damage in a economic war?
