          I'll give a hint - since US boys don't drink before 21 legally, they had to go to a place where there wasn't such a limit. If they had done it in US, the research would either have been invalid or send the subjects to court.

                          I'll ask again. Do gays stop drinking at age 21? If the answer is "no", then it makes no difference that a study in American would involve subjects with an age greater than 21.

                                It's not the same thing. Teenagers engage in riskier behaviour than 20-somethings, etc.
