Communism is here to stay! We are willing to hold a vote in the Supreme Soviet if the party is to step down from power allowing free and open elections but I fear that the Russian people are still too reactionary to be trusted with such a choice.


We shall also not support the Church since it was a part of the represive regime of old! we may allow religius freedom but the building of new Cathedrals? Is there a greater waste of resources? Perhaps some local Churches destroyed in our overzealus "education" of the people might be rebuilt but this should be debated.

Yes, I wanted a simple engine since the majority of the game decisions will be roleplayed. Civ 2 has simple rules and is known by nearly everyone.

A proposal from Heracommie to save our Soviet economy from collapse:


Step 1: End the riots in Moscow and Odessa by whatever means nesecary to regain income and production from the cities

Step 2:Open trade with the US, using transports to send our goods there. It sickens us to support global capitalism in this way, but so far none of our good comrades have tought it a good idea to get the reasources needed for socialism in the Soviet Union by force- so we must either isolate or cooperate. I vote cooperate with the less dangerus imperialistic powers.

Step 3:Thourugly search Soviet territory for rebel fragments of the White army while making a complete census of property to see if there is anything we can still nationalize under current laws (pop goody huts)

Step 4: Develop advanced flight technology and build Nova Krepost Ross a city with an airfield somewhere on the North American continent. We link it with railway to the Candian/American/Mexican railway system. Once this is done we can transpot goods to the New World via air trade routes.


(I know such large aircraft are science fiction but I am confident in the prowess of Soviet Engineers)

I have played all the civ games, civ 2 is simple and clean and I want to tell a story we all help create. I wanted something more objective than the old dead tradition of NES and something more simple and adaptable than Civ4 Diplo or Democracy games.
