I revised the last map to include CGN and the FreeCiv site. Also, LS leaving is now the Roman army's withdrawal from Britain.

Looking at that map I would say we should accept vasselage to the CFCans in exchange for help against the server problems (we secretly however plot with the Freecivers). Once the SQL horde is defeated we land an amphibius force in Constantinople triggering a civli war in CFC.

Freeciv attacks from the east we qucikly grab the Balkans and Greece. We then sign a peace with the eastern part of CFC and help them finish off their western splinter.
We then send our diplomats to bribe eventian cities back into joining (we get the money by sending trading caravans to Freeciv and Egypt.

Once this is done (some 9 to 24 months) our forces are ready to deal with server problems that will no doubt return. We let them have northern Gaul in exchange for peace. We start building fortifications and pillaging the roads that lead to that part in preparation for their inevitable next assult.

We use this time to recover Sicily, Corsica and Sardinia from CGN (if we are not forced to defend Greece from the Eastern CFC remanant). We now strike hard at WPC (who is probably busy with horde attacks from Northern gaul) we try to take out Dalepolis in hopes of another civil war helping us.

26 months have passed, at any point now rumors of Civ5 will begin to appear and it may already be in development, perhaps near release. Civ5 will boost all the major powers except Freeciv and the barbarian hordes.

We are by now stuck in a war on several fronts (CFC east, WPC and perhaps even CGN). We try to keep Greece and the mediteranean isles and keeping our intial gains in WPC.

We strike a deal with CGN, we give them back Sicily, gold and troops in exchange for peace and a joint sneak attack on CFC east (who are probably by now marching into Freeciv). We grab Egypt (handing it over to CGN in exchange for a fair share of the taxes and a one time gold buyout of our part).

If the war goes well enough we Liberate Jerusalem and the Jews from the Nazi moderators (creating a new forum in Palestine and Assyria). CGN gets Cyprus and the bit of Arabia. Freeciv should by now be regaining Mesopotamia and perhaps even making raids into Anatolia. We use this opportunity to either (depending of CFCE's strenght):

a) Crush CFC east leaving them a rump state in the Bosporus
b) Sign a favorable peace where they are forced to pay tribute and give us several parts of Western Anatolia,

...we now ask Markos to return as moderator of the Province of Greater Hellas.

WPC is a wild card, it may have collapsed by the force of barbarians (despite the boost of Civ5) this will create problems as disruptive and malcontent refugees will stream into our lands (I propose we give them to Rump CFC/Anatolian CFC).

They may be locked in a civil war witha split site, we work with the split site and crush them. We then crush the split site.


If they are not broken by civil war or barbarians they have probably used this opportunity to expand in Gaul (Barbarian and Apolytonian), if so we give
CGN a few mediteranean isles to help us out with a naval assault from the atlantic and some troops. We fight a long bitter war (about 2 months) which we end up winning.


But the future of the Empire is not secure yet CGN whille usefull has Grown rather strong.
CFC may still lurk in Anatiolia and the Barbarians never rest.



We first work with Freeciv and Judea to finally eliminate CFCE in Anatolia if they aren't a rump state)
Use a stronger Judea (Central Anatolia) and Freeciv (all CFC lands east of Judean lands
as well as a large sum of gold) and attack CGN on all fronts. Since they have focused
on naval strenght an invasion of Egypt from the east is the last thing they expect.

We give the rich lands of Egypt to Judea they then split Central Anatolia between us and Freeciv. We fight a naval war with them untill we can sack Chartage.
We then get back our mediteranean isles reducing CGN to just North Africa.


Apolyton is now the greatest civilization site and we should be in the Middle ages part of the tech tree. All hail Emperor Heraclitus!
