I've been in about a dozen car accidents. 4 Times the car was totaled. Fortunately only minor injuries. I was not the driver in any of those. Scary crap.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Ski accident when I was 18, the ski went through my cheek and out my mouth. Luckily no real damage, light scar. Reason for a lot of my dental work in the past.

Holy ****ing ****. That post just makes me cringe to read it.

I've had breaks and dislocations in martial arts and the various sports they made schoolgirls do in England (field hockey was especially damaging) but they were all things to do with the limbs. Put up a strong face, bung it in a cast, and a few weeks later you're done.

I can't stand the thought of any trauma to the face though. I'm honestly better with looking at a broken leg bone or snapped arm bone than the mere thought of something going through a cheekbone, through the nasal cavity, or into the orbitals of the eyesockets.

****ing rough. Glad to hear you made it through all right.
