I didn't open the MC thread on Waxed Panda C**t but I did look at the Viz one.

I'm considering writing an MC rules variant based solely on the English canal system. Since visiting the Canal Museum in Kings Cross and buying the most excellent strategy board game Canalmania, I've become something of a fan of the network, and made a point of visiting Skipton and Saltaire while driving through Yorkshire recently.
