Longest I did in one day was Toronto - Montreal - Boston in about 11 hours including stop offs.

I'm not proud that I essentially blew through Montreal, stopping only for lunch with two lovely Canadian girls I met on the road, but others I'm sure would beg to differ (about Montreal, not the girls bit)...

che and I went from Chicago to Idaho Falls in one day years ago, with only occasional stops for breaks and scenery.

ok so yeah! I made it! I drove about 600 miles just today. It's 10:30 here in Florida and I'm going to the store to get last minute supplies and then it's back to the room to start cooking all night. I need to leave here about 5:30 a.m. to register at 6:30 because the silly lady that booked my room told me it was 20 minutes to where I needed to go but it's really 45. No worries just have to revamp my time schedule a bit. Changing my Compass! So ok......that's it. I'm off to bake pies and tomorrow I will be the National Pie Champion!

OMG of course everything that could go wrong did when I was making the pies. Was almost to late this morning to get them there, but they made it and they are being judged right now. I will know something at 6:30 tonight. I'm so tired three days with 10 hours sleep but how cool is this one of the Food Network Stars was there and knows the people I wast eating with and we are going to his house tomorrow for brunch and Food Network is going to be there!!!!!! I have 3 1/2 more hours to know. 70 entries 266 pies from across the country. I'm realistic and understand that's a huge odd.....but I still want to win!! Hubby says I already did since I had a dream and went after it intstead of sitting on the couch. I was the only person there from Texas.

Ok.....time to find food and kill time until 6:30 tonight. Wish me luck!
