Seriously, though, Canada had a very nice navy, centered around escort and light aircraft carriers, and ASW corvettes and destroyers, with some limited amphibious capability IIRC. It couldn't go toe to toe with the USN

Would have been a hell of a surprise though. We probably could have gotten a significant portion of the US Atlantic fleet before you realised what the **** was happening.

And? What does it prove?
Do you know how many weapons/components USAsia imports? From MP5 for its navy to Rheinmetal guns for its tanks (with British armor). So I can't see your point here.
