That thread is easily the most boring thread I've read in at least a month, across any site.

You seem to think working on a game makes you qualified or even intelligent. It doesn't. In most cases, you have to be some kind of stupid to work for the game companies. The salaries are not competitive, the hours are long, the benefits suck, the work is tedious. There are only a few genuinely interesting positions that require genuinely intelligent people to work on, and by chance that happens to be the same kind of folks who post on Beyond3D instead.

Most video game "developers" are codemonkeys, but most of the people who work on video games themselves are even worse. You've got your artists and your composers and your level designers, etc -- neither of which have any particular insight on anything of value.

It's one thing to call somebody who is acting stupid, stupid...it's another to constantly and blatantly lie to try to assassinate someone's character.

In fact, what he's doing is remarkably stupid. There are TONS of obvious character flaws of mine for him to attack on here, TONS of things I do that he can attack -- I do not comprehend why he needs to lie to do it?

I guess what I'm asking for you is to get Ben to actually insult me with true, personal insults. It's better than lies.
