I drink about a liter, I'd say (another half a liter if espresso drinks are included).

think I'm on same level - due to easter I had the opportunity to mix it with some Black Grouse - not bad. Actually it wasn't bad on it's own.
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Seriously, it is a well known fact that the stimulant effects of caffeine are lost if you drink too much of it, and you end up with a vicious circle effect of needing more coffee to have the same effect until pretty much you can't actually operate without coffee just to bring yourself up to what used to be your 'normal' operating faculties...
Robbing Peter to pay Paul always ****s you in the end...
I operate just fine on the weekends without coffee .

Coffee tolerance really only develops in individuals drinking > 2l per day on a multi-day basis. Between 1-2l on a daily basis there is some dropoff in effectiveness, but it is not even close to total.
Whatever. Anyone who thinks drinking lots of coffee habitually is actually helpful is deluding themselves.
Yeah, why trust the actual data when we can just apply our priors?
Absolutely. Just call me Darius.
Obviously if after you give it serious examination and it works for you, then who am I to tell you it isn't. I just know a large number of people that have become so hooked on it that they can't operate without first having several cups.
I still want to feel the full caffeine hit from the first cup. If you get that, then good for you - you obviously aren't drinking too much.
