The Pie Hole works in terms of referring to the mouth, but it's not exactly a friendly, homey term ("Shut your pie hole!"). Remember, the writers on Pushing Daisies were trying to be funny, not appetizing.

I think the smart course is to match your website; that creates a bit of leverage -- each promotes the other.

But if that's too damn logical for your taste, I kinda like The Pie Queen, too.

Best friend and I are arguing over what name to name the pie shop I'm going to open. So here are a list of names I'm not going to tell you which one we're fighting over, you guys just tell me which one you like the best or which one you think would work the best for a pie shop please and thank you.

Without biasing myself by reading the other responses:

The Pie Hole just conjures up bad images.

Moonbeams Pies makes me think of Moonpies, which may not be an issue in your region, but is probably not an association you want if it is an issue.

MJ's Pie Shop gave me a mental image of Michael Jackson luring children to Neverland with hot, delicious pie. Also probably not a good association.

Betty Lou's Pies & Treats is wholesome, simple, and descriptive. The immediate mental image is of a grandmother in an apron pulling the pie out of the oven or setting it on the windowsill to cool. It gets my vote.

EDIT: Now that I've read the thread, Japher's Pie Queen suggestion is good, and the pi symbol may work well in Austin.
