Of course I don't watch 60 movies a month, my point was simply that if you watch net flicks at the fastest possible rate they can be mailed and processed (which of course no one actually dose) the per-disc cost could be down in the 15 cents range and I hated No Country for Old Men (a movie that was hyped as being 'good' mind you) so much that even 15 cents would have been a rip off.

Blockbusters opened their first store in my hometown about 10 years ago. I walked in to see what's up. They had a lot of stuff (I guess that's their selling point.. looking big?). So I decided to sign up since they were nearby my house. Then something struck me on the form.. deposit... what's that? So I asked the guy, he said it's just in case you damage the disc. So I asked the guy, what if I buy a disc, put it in, find it doesn't work, bring it back asking for my money back and you blame me for the damage, I lose my money (which I lose anyway since I have to pay the deposit now and who bothers to unregister from a video store?). I told him that it's bull****. I left the form uncompleted and left.be free

Explain your math.
Best deal is 16.99$ a month for 3 discs out. To get to 15 cents a disc requires you to watch 113 discs a month. Dividing by 3 (for # of discs out at a time) means that you need to exchange each disc 37.7 times a month. Given a day out, a day in and a day of processing time (to be generous I'll ignore the fact that Netflix doesn't work during weekends in my experience) the most number of times you can ACTUALLY change a disc per month is ~10 times (this is still very high; more realistically it's in the 8 times per month range).
In other words, you're FOS.
