I'm in the process of formatting one of our laptops that was infected with a googlesearch hijack virus. I spent hours and hours trying to get rid of it. Unfortunately, nothing worked including with some expert help and I'm left with no alternative but to format and re-install which will take even more of my time.
Do the ****s who make and spread these things have any idea how much damage they do? Clearly, the weak-assed punishment for these crimes is not a viable deterent. We need something a little more harsh than a few years in jail. Perhaps something like removal of hands and feet.
For my part, I feel the need to inflict some pain.
