Hit-and-run victim caught on car, thrown off in getaway: L.A. police
    By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

LOS ANGELES - Police say a victim in a deadly hit-and-run accident was caught on the hood of the car until the driver stopped and a passenger got out and threw the victim off.

The passenger got back in and the car sped off.

The accident occurred early Sunday when the driver ran a red light and sped into a crosswalk near the University of Southern California and hit two students.

Officials say 19-year-old Adrianna Bachan, a freshman at USC, was killed and Marcus Garfinkle, also 19, of Scottsdale, Ariz., was seriously injured. It was not clear which victim was on the hood.

Police had no further details but scheduled a news conference for Monday.

    Too harsh?

Should I have gone with a more sympathetic title?

Its not as bad as when a woman in texas hit a homeless man, who got stuck in the windshield, continued to drove home and left him in her garage to die.

I don't know. Subsequent reports indicate the injured pedestrian was the one stuck on the hood. They stopped and threw an injured man off the car then drove on. That is pretty bad.

You hear about drunk drivers hitting people so that the victim is half stuck in the windshield and they try to keep driving. That's some scary ****.

I'd put this in the same category. I hope they catch the ****er.

Why bother? Someone like Wezil would likely just get them off on a technicality

My first thought on hearing the story was Bill Hicks.

What? I was giving you a compliment, saying you're good at your job, even if you do have no conscience.
