Yet if you asked historians without which country's participation would the Allies have lost WWII, the list would be something like:

US
Britain
USSR
China
Canada

Perhaps fourth, at best, probably fifth. Certainly helpful, and they certainly were a major element of the victory, but I think saying "We never lost a war" based on that single participation in a war where you were not in the top 3 combatants, is rather weak.

The western front opened in 1944, by then the war was clearly lost for Germany.

From what I've read, 90% of German divisions were on the Eastern front in WWII.
