Wee Free Men is a wonderful book! I didn't realize it was supposed to be a children's book until I found its sequel Hatfull of Sky in the children's section. Hatfull of Sky is the best of the three books and is absolutely stupendous!!

What sort of themes you are looking for, etc. Fairies and Aliens seems to indicate you want something about characters that don't fit into society, but as that's the better portion of the Fantasy genre isn't very specific...
I was a bit harsh, but it was cause you got my hopes up. I am not really looking for characters that don't fit into society, more for very 'different' stuff.

The Gods Themselves was decent, Integral Trees as well I Think.
