No, its not. Why do you think sometimes guys find it hard to "finish" (eg, if they're stressed or preoccupied). It's absolutely possible, you obviously just don't know how.

Since you've been so fixated thus far on the effect removal of shaft nerve endings has on sexual pleasure, you should be equally aware of the role that shaft nerve endings have in inducing ejaculation.
The nerves do not induce ejaculation. They simply send signals to the brain (the mind, if you will). In this case, they send intense pleasure signals.

So, you're saying you could last 16 hours if you wanted to? Or are you full of ****?

Again, I never denied that some can learn to control it better than others, so what you or I do or do not "know how to do" is simply irrelevant. The point was that every individual man has his breaking point, and that individual man's usual breaking point - whether it be 5 minutes or 50 minutes - can be extended even further by lessened sensitivity.

If you're too insecure to admit that simple fact, then I suggest you conduct a little experiment over the next few weeks: test out your maximum without a condom, and then test it out with two condoms on, or after applying a topical anesthetic, or both. Even if your "technique" is as good as you claim it is, those methods would improve it regardless.

I seriously hope (scratch that, I wish) you might remember at least something from even middle school biology, because it'd remind you that a wide variety of neural impulses (including most sensory impulses) resolve themselves independently of the brain. For instance even quadriplegics can't "think" their heart to stopping, pupils independently contract when light increases whether you like it or not, and you couldn't stop intestinal peristalsis with any amount of thought, leaving aside the even more well-known muscular reflexes that respond to stimuli well before the brain even perceives them. Just because your brain can interpret the tactile sensation of a doctor tapping the patellar tendon below your knee with a hammer, that doesn't mean the kick of your leg was a conscious action. Same thing with jerking your hand away from a hot stove nanoseconds before your brain even interpreted the sensation of pain. Or our old friend the gag reflex.

Some of these things can be controlled to a certain extent, and some not at all, but not even your highness can exercise 100% control of internal organs for an infinite period of time. The fact that it even has to be said is beyond absurd.

Sounds reasonable, then again luckily I've never experienced a foreskin I could've used to compare with so I don't notice any increased insensitivity at all.

Let me make this very simple:

          1) Suppose X has terrible technique and can last only 2 minutes, even though he tries for at least 5.

          2) Suppose Y has good technique and can last 30 minutes, even though he tries for at least 40.

          3) Now suppose the shaft sensitivity of both X and Y is decreased by 50%.

Are you and Asher seriously suggesting that #3 would affect X's duration, but not Y's? More likely both would last longer than they otherwise would, which is my only point about circumcision. Since even a population of people with 100% perfect technique would still get better duration from lower sensitivity in the aggregate, technique is totally irrelevant.

          • I don't understand why you guys are so attached to an AIDS catcher that makes you worse in the sack and ensures you'll go to hell. Is a little more pleasure really worth it?

No, due to blueballing and general soreness. But other than that, yes.

I'll do you one better: I regularly have both with and without a condom. I last the same amount of time with both.

Even better, I've become particularly adept at timing the climax...

Answer me this then hotshot: if ejaculation is not a mostly autonomous stimulus-reflex arc, why do doctors use neurotomy to treat premature ejaculation? Why is "ejaculatory reflex" a term of art among urologists? Why is it that many paraplegics can still ejaculate so long as the sacral reflex arc (which includes the pudendal nerve between the glans and prostate) remains intact entirely independent of the brain? Why why why?!?

But what do I know, I'm just some jackass on the internet relying on scientific experts who couldn't be more clear than this doctor from the first google hit on "ejaculatory reflex," which brings thousands of other hits including hundreds of studies in reputable journals:

Ejaculation is a reflex that, once a certain level of stimulation is reached, is automatic. Controlling the ejaculatory reflex requires that the man be able to recognize and regulate the amount of stimulation he is experiencing so that he does not reach the level that will trigger the ejaculatory reflex before he wants to.

Answer me this then hotshot: if ejaculation is purely a reflex, why is it that 15 year olds having sex for the first time last seconds while a year later they can go on for much, much longer?

Dude, have you ever had sex? You act like it's this thing that's completely out of someone's control, when it is not.

Why is "ejaculatory reflex" a term of art among urologists?
Because once it is triggered, it is a reflex. The point of contention which you do not seem to comprehend is one has control over when it is triggered. You act like as soon as you start having sex it's an unstoppable train that'll happen at a specific time regardless of what you do. As somebody who has actually had sex, I'm telling you that people who know what they're doing can control when they climax.

There is absolutely a role in this for the mind. If you don't believe me, have sex while thinking about doing taxes and see how long it takes you to climax.

Paraphimosis is a urologic emergency, occurring in uncircumcised males, in which the foreskin becomes trapped behind the corona and forms a tight band of constricting tissue. Often iatrogenically induced, paraphimosis can be prevented by returning the prepuce to cover the glans following penile manipulation. Treatment often begins with reduction of edema, followed by a variety of options, including mechanical compression, pharmacologic therapy, puncture technique and dorsal slit. Prevention and early intervention are key elements in the management of paraphimosis

                            • Epididymitis

Epididymitis is inflammation of the epididymis. It can be very painful, and become a chronic condition, but medical treatment is well accepted and effective. One 1998 study found the rate of epididymitis in boys with foreskins was significantly higher than in those without; that an intact foreskin is an important etiological factor in boys with epididymitis.

Department of Surgery, Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina, USA.

PURPOSE: Recommendations for circumcision have significantly altered in the last several years. Studies have objectively established an increased risk of urinary tract infection in uncircumcised boys. We evaluated the relationship between epididymitis and circumcision status. MATERIALS AND METHODS: We studied the relationships among the circumcision status of 36 consecutive boys with epididymitis in a review of 128 with acute scrotal inflammation (group 1), circumcision status of 43 in whom the diagnosis of epididymitis at discharge home had been made elsewhere (group 2), New York State hospital discharge figures for circumcision in newborns (group 3) and the regional prevalence of circumcision in 200 consecutive pediatric emergency department patients at the same institution with nonurological diagnoses (group 4). RESULTS: New York State Department figures indicate that 70% of male newborns are discharged home with a hospital code for circumcision. Similarly an evaluation of 200 consecutive male patients without urological diagnoses younger than 18 years in the emergency department revealed that 131 (65%) were circumcised. Comparatively in groups 1 and 2 only 25 and 26% of patients, respectively, were circumcised. The statistical difference in circumcision status among the 4 groups was significant (p >0.0004). CONCLUSIONS: These data demonstrate with highly statistical significance that a relationship exists between epididymitis and the presence of a foreskin. We found that an intact foreskin is an important etiological factor in boys with epididymitis.
