  • WHat type are You?

To cut long story short, I've read some article, which is in polish, so no use for you, in which a professor claimed that men tend to need more social contacts, but less developed one, while women prefer to have a stable number of social contacts, but like to deepen them. So men will always want new, new friends while women would want to hang out with the same people until their boyfriends are sick to death and leave, then they'll probably take one of these friends, and he will get sick... etc... well, that's my over-interpretation.
Which type are You? I think I'm a female type. I do not wish for new friends, I think I have enough friends, but they're never around.

I have lots but I wouldnt call them friends though I certainly try to appear as one.

I rely on my strong core. Everyone else is outside of my circle.

There is some truth to it. In primary education systems it's been studied and found that boys learn better in environments and situations that have more action and contact whereas girls learn better with more routine and self work. A lot has changed to help the girls so that they don't fall behind, and, IMO, has lead to an increase in ADD/ADHD diagnosis. Whereas the boys used to have more frequent, yet shorter, recesses they are now forced into longer but less frequent recesses; making them fidgety and unable to concentrate in the longer class periods. Any, my 2 cents on that.

What type am I? Well, I like to think there are really 3 types of people in this world; those who can count and those who can't.

Come to a board filled with obsessive-compulsive misanthropic loners and ask them to pick one of two social categories to fit themselves in and all you'll get is a lot of dissonance.

I've head of this before. I tend to have a few close friends but had many weak contacts, mainly thru work.
