Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
God this is like being forced to choose between my children. Smac and Civ 4 on the one hand, Marathon, Pathways into Darkness, Myth 1&2 and Oni on the other. God. I guess I'll have to go with Bungie because Myth 2 was just SO strong.

To Mac players, both those games were AMAZING. Proving how unfortunate it was to be a Mac gamer.
Bungie are ok as a company, but I hated the whole Halo-boy attitude and "Master Commander" has a cheesy ring to it, especially with that silly green suit of his. Crysis had a much nicer suit, though, "Maximum Power" was cheesy. Crysis was a better game.
As for Firaxis, they lost the plot somewhere, Brian R, realised this i'm sure, whatever happened to him anyway? Haven't really heard any new games coming.
If Firaxis wants to get back into the field, they need to start making rock-solid, polished games, like Blizzard. This is where Firaxis belong, but they failed to continue climbing that ladder.
Their only hope now is SMAC II. I agree with above. Completely new team, new engine, new everything, polish it, make it amazing, then Firaxis can stand on the podium.
Firaxis won't get my support until they give me SMAC II

I remember Apple fanboys claiming that the PowerMac was the best gaming platform because it got Myth. Yeah, sure.
I was walking through a bookstore the other day and I saw a book called "Macs for Dummies".
I thought to myself "well, DUH. Of course they are "
