It was the brave men of the RCAF, and the other fine fighting arms of the Dominion of Canada, who endured the sacrifice of war, and some who even paid the ultimate price in the defense of freedom.

Though science may have helped advance the cause, it was the SOLDIER, the SAILOR and the AIRMAN who fought for our FREEDOM, not the scientist who was safely tucked away.

Sorry, Felch. Extraordinary claims demand extraordinary proof, so you've got a long way to go in convincing anybody this "Canada" place is real. And before you waste any time pulling from wikipedia, I'll go ahead and show you this: Land of Oz. Wiki won't cut it for this one.

You've got to understand that patriotism is a bad thing.

I'm telling you, I've met people from there. They've got windmills and this guy keeps jousting with them because he thinks that they're giants. And they use massive lesbians to keep the ocean from flooding their cities. Canada is a crazy place.

Without science you wouldn't have SOLDIERS or SAILORS or AIRMEN - you'd only have WARRIORS. Unless you pop a **** ton of goody huts, or you get some really generous allies, those are all you're ever going to have. Sure the bonus to defending cities is good, but then once you start facing enemies with Bronze Working, they become completely obsolete.

You do realize the modern welfare state was invented by Bismarck, right? Hardly the sort of fellow you'd accuse of pursuing policies to weaken his country.
