2. Check in on 'poly
3. Check various political sites
4. Check google news
5. Check in on other baseball sites like Baseball Prospectus, Hardball Times, Fangraphs, etc.

At times, step 4 will include checking in on various online papers, but not always. Depends on what's goin' on.

Repeat.

corporation forums
axisandallies forums
webcomics (sinfest, questionablecontent, sluggy (not really that good, but I have been reading it forever), xkcd, penny-arcade, errantstory (not really that good, but I have been reading it forever))
on Wednesdays: zeropunctuation

tvtropes (normally later in the day)
wikipedia (normally later in the day)
veoh or some other site for anime (generally late in the day)
facebook (sometimes go a while without it)
okcupid (sometimes go a while without it)

1. Log on to Ivalice MUD and go AFK.
2. Check Poly.
3. Check Toady One's Dwarf Fortress dev blog.
4. Check my Livejournal firends' postings, including RSS'ed xkcd and Dilbert.
5. Check PHD comics.
6. Check 8-bit Theater and Ctrl-Alt-Del (both not good at all, but I've been reading them forever).
7. Check a couple other forums.
8. From time to time I check cracked.com, Dr. McNinja, and foxnews.com, the latter for my weekly dose of rage.

2. Research whatever subject I was last thinking about when I wasn't near a computer.
3. Check Poly.
4. Check D&D websites (Wizards, ENWorld, RPG.net).
5. Check comics.
6. Read news on WaPo, Google News, or Digg.
