My dentist made me paranoid about Coca Cola

That said, any sort of 'brown' cola (proper cola, e.g. with kola bean juice in it) generally has phosphoric acid in it (diet included), which rots your teeth. But as long as you're not drinking like 2L a day you're probably fine.

Clear sodas and most non-brown sodas don't have phosphoric acid in them, but you can check the label to verify.

Barnabas: Yes, 7-Up (and Sprite and other clear sodas) don't generally have Phosphoric Acid in them. (Phosphoric Acid gives it some of the bitter taste of cola.) Don't recall if fruit sodas have it or not off the top of my head.
