On all American airlines I've been on, there's no row 13. On JAL, Asiana, and KAL, there's no row 4.

Now there's a thought. Sit on row 13, and the plane goes down. But it goes down for those not on the 13th row, aswell.

There was a study, and a nifty diagram, of survival chances in plane crashes. I wonder where the imaginary row 13 would fall on such studies...

BTW: I've been told that the reason Friday the 13th is considered unlucky is because the Last Supper was on a Friday, and there were thirteen people at the table.
