I didn't ban CivNation and I couldn't find the documentation in the ban log. (I couldn't access anything prior to 2003) So I'm not sure what happened there. But I can say that I doubt he was banned for spouting stupid crap. However, it was entertaining reviewing page after page after page of the ban long and kept seeing ASHER.

My lord, Ash, I believe you probably have the record. AND NONE of them was for making stuff up or outright stupidity.

To be fair, many of those were because DanQ lacked good judgement and appointed Urban Ranger to be mod.

The whole purpose of the ignore feature is negated when the person is quoted. So your advice was useless, is all.
