So when a majority of Americans no longer supported the war, why didn't Bush pull out of Iraq?

And why was it right for the Supreme Court to appoint Bush as President when he didn't have a majority of the votes?

I wish I could see Ben's head spinning right now.

Let's get one thing straight. I may not be a believer anymore, but Christianity is, at its root, a religion of peace, respect, and love.

The **** Ben says, thinks, and does, is hardly Christian. More Christianist, in the same way Ted Haggard's fatwas against the gays were issued.

I hear that a lot, but it really doesn't translate well to Christians as a whole. The message has long been lost to most Christians.

It's kinda funny he says that, when he's clearly taking glee from the fact that loving couples may be forced to divorce.

I know most people got that already. I just want to underscore it for anybody who skips reading his posts.

Not true. You just hear from the loudest, most Christianist segments which colour your impression of the religion as a whole.

Y'know, like how a lot of people don't believe Islam is a religion of peace because they hear about the stonings, and the honor killings, and the female circumcision, and the terrorism.

Doesn't matter. If only the bigoted Christians make their voices heard, but hte rest of Christianity is silent, it's as good as silent acceptance.

Yes, but it's not like anyone pays attention to the people who aren't ****heads.

After all, we're pretending that Ben actually has a viable point of view, and only far more rarely really talk to or about any other Christians on this board.
