My friend Bing built a TIE Advanced in the bike shed when we were living in the UK.

He made it out of shaped modelling plastic that he sawed himself and glued together and painted. It was pretty cool.

Edit: It was not full sized. It was about the size of a basketball.

Then Jedi came in and reversed his mountain bike over it and broke it. Bing was so pissed he literally locked Jedi out of the house for two days until Jedi's girlfriend called him up and negotiated a truce.

Mind you, Jedi was a bit of an arse.

Wow, did Jedi use the force?

Or in this case, maybe the farce?

            Nope, Jedi used the Mashery.

            ...

This makes more sense if I mention that he habitually called his girfriend "ma cherie" to pretend like he was French. We never actually learned her real name. She referred to herself as Cherie and we're pretty sure she wasn't actually named that - it was just a nickname.

Hmm. It sounds like James G. Cummings got what was coming to him.
