The continuing bad weather is having an impact. I understand that the boss of Transport for London makes sure that the Piccadilly line gets priority in times of snow, and hence is the best place to be.

With that in mind, I'll get off at Holloway Road, triggering the invocation of Bazelguette's underflow, whereby all players at northern line stations get shunted immediately to the nearest central line station.

We've been shunted, we're not in Nid, although due to Dukes move we're basically screwed until one of us gets as far as hammersmith (and no, that's not a move by me...)

                Oh, sorry...

                Hammersmith

Was busy plotting moves. Now be free, my friends in shunt!

Comes with the extra benefit of getting me 2 silver tokens.

That's your move? How silly, and how short sighted. I'm going to use the Fry Reverse, move to Brondesbury Park, which will let me jump to Oxford Circus and collect 1 gold for the next six rounds; on top of that, anyone travelling via the Circle Line automatically loses their next turn.

You are just not seeing the long term move of allowing everyone to move, stopping Duke's strategy which would have seen him in Mornington Crescent in 3 turns otherwise.

No Circle Line? Damn. But Liverpool Street advances my strategy very nicely.

I will continue my subtle progress with a steady advance to Caledonian Road for one blue token and two cards off the signals deck.

The duke o' york inspired me to whole new strategy for this game - the Beserk variant.

Starting at Høje Tåstrup where the Thor's tower are, I go for Valby Station and by taking the fast train you guys are in serious truble

(Thanks for getting my name right - so few do. )

Are we allowing transnational moves in this ruleset? Just that I've got a beauty to Quatre Septembre, allowing me to call in at la Place Vendome and bag tokens of every colour, plus a lovely pearl necklace (not that kind!) that my girlfriend will love.

ctrl+c,ctrl+v makes it easy - though, I understand your problem - everyone thinks that my name is michael despite the fact that it isn't

Considering that I'm using the Beserk variant, that's not a problem - MC is located on old viking ground. I'm even allowed to include Icelandic or Russian stations

But the crossed leylines over MC would restrict your movement outside London, unless the rules chosen expressly state so, and I believe that is snoopy's call.
