I don't have all that many preferences either (except that I won't like any grand dancing disco-dasco loud music scha-bang, but I suspect that's the same for some of you guys). I should be able to get to any place in the inner city or immediate suburbs quickly.

Hey Markos, you're the star of the show. Let us know what you feel like doing. You might also want to let us in on where you're staying at, so we don't end up in some place that's troublesome for you to get back from.

(Edit: Not that Copenhagen is all that risky in that regard, but still...)

From the looks of the link, the place Thue suggests is a disco with a separate bar area that seats only 30 people. It also seems to be located out of the way from the city center (it's at Østerbro, by the national stadium).

Now, Markos' hotel is right by the city hall square and Strøget (main pedestrian shopping and nightlife area). It couldn't be more convenient than for us to meet up there and go strolling along Strøget to find a place to drop in. If the first place doesn't suit us, we could just move on to the next.

I say we meet outside the hotel at 8 and follow the above plan. Since we don't know eachother, it has to be right by the entrance to the hotel, and at 8 p.m. sharp.

I'm still looking into coming, it's a little complicated with an exam and some work-related stuff I have to attend to. But I think I should be able to make it.

But we DO know how you look - you posted some pics from your US trip a couple of years ago - just put yourself in a visible place and we'll find you

He-he. Ok, you got me there.

                  So, are we agreed then?

                      It is not a disco.

But I do understand the argument about not wanting to leave the inner city.

Perhaps if I can get a phone number I can meet up with you later?

                        Disco!

Joining up later is a good idea, provided you're not too sweaty from playing volleyball. I hope one of the others can oblige, as I don't have a cell phone.

                            Great.

                            So we have

                            MarkG
                            BlackCat
                            Winston

                            at the hotel

                            +

                            Thue

later on to aid us in sitting up straight

Now we need to get Monk to make up his mind whether or not he'll want to be seen in public with us.

And Chemical Ollie to seriously talk to his bank in the morning - or something!

Like all Apolytoners, that thought does frighten me somewhat, but I figure that's a poor excuse for not attending if otherwise possible.

BlackCat, could I have your number too, that I might hook up with you guys later if I can't make it to the hotel on time.

Recieved your message, BlackCat. Thanks, and I'll make sure to let you guys know in advance if I'll be showing up at the hotel or not, so you don't wait in vain.

Now Winston - as for Chemical Ollie, I'll propose that the first beer would be on me, the second on you, and if Markos did some succesful business in Viborg he might sponsor the third.

As for the fourth one, oh well, it's my experience that Swedes in Copenhagen can't handle more than three anyway, but Chemical Ollie should feel free to prove me wrong...
