  • The Interesting Thing about the Pearl River Tower

    This building is currently under construction in Guangzhou. It will be almost 1000ft feet tall, with 2.2msf.

    But what's interesting about this tower is that it generates it's own electricity. It is a Net-Zero building.

    I find this building quite interesting and I wonder if there are anymore like it. Buildings, including houses, should produce their own energy. In fact everything we use should be able to produce their own energy. It is an efficient, cleaner way to live.

    One thing I don't get, is why European and American firms are building all these structures in other countries and not their own. Anyone able to explain?
