    When I was a kid we had several bookshelves of children literature (an awesome Soviet book series), and for the last week one fairy-tale that featured a small glass-man have been occupying my mind. I'm pretty sure it is from there, but I might have invented it in my dr

    Nevermind, I've been spelling the word Glasmaennchen wrong. Found it.


    So, now that I do not require your asistance, let's discuss it. Have you read it? I'm especially interested in your reply if you're not German. Do American kids read anything apart from Dr. Seuss?

      Of course American kids read other literature besides Dr. Seus. I'm sure I wasn't the only child who read the Satanic Bible, weekly editions of Der Stürmer, and Little Black Sambo.
