    If I have, my apologies

No one on Poly mentioned it AFAIK, in this thread or any other. These things happen. See Rule 11:

    11. Celebrity deaths are to be reported by the players in the Dead Pool thread (one report will suffice for all). I don’t have the time or inclination to keep track of everybody’s list. If someone on your list dies, it is your duty to claim your points. NOTE: A link to an obit of some kind is required (see Rule 23b). This link must be in English.
I'll update soon. Going to bed now, though.

    • RIP Walter Cronkite. Truly one of the greats.

I am absolutely stunned to learn that no one picked him this year. For lacking the group forethought to include him on someone's list, we must all share a little blame for his untimely passing. He was 92.

      • My fault. Totally my fault. Had him on my list, but I took him off, because I didn't want to feel any joy at his passing.

Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. My 40-for-40 streak continues.

Yes, I agree: it is your fault.

RIP Walter You had a good number of years on this Earth and I think you made the most of them.

A long life well lived is something all of us could hope for.
If at first you don't succeed, take the bloody hint and give up.

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, N.J. - Authorities say a 25-year-old former two-time “American Idol” contestant has been struck and killed by a car in a New Jersey shore town.

The Asbury Park Press reports that Alexis Cohen, of Allentown, Pa., was killed early Saturday in Seaside Heights.

Deputy Chief Michael Mohel of the Ocean County Prosecutors Office says an autopsy indicated she suffered chest, head and abdominal injuries. Mohel says investigators are seeking more information about the collision.

Cohen auditioned in Philadelphia for the popular Fox singing competition in August 2007, and the episode was aired in January 2008. She tried out again during the show’s eighth season.

A video of her angry rant after being rejected by judges went viral on the Internet.

What ever happened with this? Isn't Asmodeon due some points?

Still waiting on the MJ cause of death as well. Could be some more points there...

                          • I think it should be counted as suicide.

                            • Suicide is my take on it as well, though it hasn't been established, of course. I'm surprised it's hardly been touched on in the countless media speculations following his death. The guy found himself at the end of his rope, seems pretty straight-forward to me.

Surely, the whole so-called investigation will turn up inconclusive, since noone's really interested in anything but preserving his legacy, whatever that is laid out to be.
