Well, isn't excersize considered healthy? And isn't muscle growth basically getting the muscle cells damaged, and then healing them? Or so I recall.

Plus, I seem to recall sunlight helps with creating some vitamin or another. So while a tan might not be healthy, it tells, that the person has created healthy amounts of some vitamin.
