  • Deadlifting the day after drinking = bad idea

I was feeling a bit weak after Fri. night, so I think I cheated on my form on Sat. morning at the gym when doing my regular weight.

    My back is killing me.

Yeah, I am always very careful while deadlifting. I even stopped trying until my stomach gets stronger.

Couldn't go running today because of it. Also, I felt sorry for myself, so I had a double whopper.

      Bad Kitty.

I'm not worried about abdominal muscles. Have always done situps since I was ~14.

My back muscles are weaker than abs. Have only been deadlifting for a few months.

Though the thought of getting a hernia does frighten me.

Well, I have bad posture, and hate situps. My stomach is by far the worse point on my body.

Because I do work my back, it is OK despite my bad posture (nothing great).

My stomach is terrible though, so I have to be careful.

When I was doing deadlifting and squats (not machine), my back would be sore the next day or two, and I really don't like it being sore.

Don't mind regular sore, but can't really bend over right now. It's getting a bit better.

                  Ick, that is bad.

I sorta like normal sore, just not in my core.

Back still hurts. At least it's not stopping me from moving.

I've been working on everything required to do pull-ups and that's made my lats sore for days. It sucks to have to reach up high to do anything. Damn PT.....

                          This thread is pathetic

You're just trying to get me to break my promise to you. I won't do it, my mentally inferior Danish friend.

If you are referring to the compression thread, I'm not a bit worried - that would be shooting yourself in the foot

if you are referring to something else, well please tell, I'm curious.
