Is she 21 I hope? It sounds like she likes outdoor activities. Hoover Dam, and Grand Canyon are good starts. It's worth seeing the red rock canyon scenic route while she's here. Maybe do a hike on one of the trails. Mt. Charleston is nice, too much snow to do any serious hiking, but if you like snow... I'm not a big snow lover, so I don't really go up in the winter. Snow to me is just cold stuff. Nothing magical about it.

Make sure to see the Bellagio fountain display. Mirage still has their volcano show, I think the changed it and ramped it up since the old display. I guess TI has their show still, not like the old show which was about pirates and stuff. Haven't seen the new one. That's about it for the free stuff. If you have the money, take in a show. They are pricey, but you really should take in one. Just find a guide to find one that suites you (or her). I know downtown is kind of old, but it is worth seeing the light display at the Fremont Street experience. It is safe as long as you don't venture too far off fremont street. But even then, it's not real bad. Not nearly as bad as most cities downtown areas. Ours is pretty safe. Downtown doesn't have gangs. Those are on the east side and west side.

oh and gamble at my place, we need the business. . We are dead slow right now. JK though. My place is more a locals place and far from the center of town.

Well that's troubling. He should check out my classical music thread, wherein I talk about music written after that and even post links to a bunch of pieces on Youtube, all but one of which was written after 1900. He might get educated a bit.
